Reservation Policy

The Indian Institute of Information Technology Raichur (IIIT Raichur), an Institute of National Importance established under the Indian Institutes of Information Technology (Public-Private Partnership) Act, 2017, follows the reservation policies, rules, orders and instructions issued by the Government of India from time to time in matters relating to admissions, recruitment and other applicable areas.

Reservation for various categories, including Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes – Non-Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL), Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and other applicable categories, shall be implemented in accordance with the prevailing Government of India rules, notifications, orders and guidelines.

The Institute maintains and operates reservation rosters in accordance with the applicable Government of India instructions and implements reservation in recruitment and admissions as prescribed by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, and other competent authorities from time to time.
