Although newly founded in 2019 under the mentorship of IIT Hyderabad, IIIT Raichur — as an Institute of National Importance — is deeply committed to excellence in Research and Development, under the guidance of Director Prof. Harish Kumar Sardana.
The faculty members at IIITR are accomplished researchers in their individual areas of expertise, with long-term research experience and publications in reputed international journals. They are actively engaged in research projects arising from distinguished global collaborations at the forefront of R&D — evident from the detailed publication and project records on their faculty profiles.
Computer Science & Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, and Mathematics & Computing — faculty from all three streams committed to meaningful research in their domains, working from the permanent campus at Wadavatti, Raichur.
IIITR offers Doctoral and Post-doctoral programs in CSE, CCE and MC, building a research pipeline with active engagement and participation from faculty members.
