Mehbub Alam

Introduction

Dr. Mehbub Alam is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Information Technology Raichur, which he joined in September 2025.
Before joining IIIT Raichur, he worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Secure UTM Systems Lab at Khalifa University, Abu Dhabi, UAE. He was associated with the project “Zero-Trust-based Secure, Resilient, and Autonomous System for Drone UTM Interactions (ZT-UTM)”, funded by Technology Innovation Institute (TII).
Prior to his doctoral studies, he served as a Faculty at the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) Shillong.
His research interests lie in Drone Security and Next-Generation Internet of Things.
